Most flights from the States arrive in London in the morning. If you’re arriving from another European city, try to start or end your day with a flight rather than take a midday flight. In my opinion, it is the best use of your time to fly out after dinner so that you enjoy the whole day in City #1 and start fresh after a good night’s sleep in City #2. You’re planning a Europe trip. Great! There is so much to see! You want to spend a couple of days everywhere, but what should you see? Being a mom of three, I don’t like to be away from my boys for more than 5 days or so. With our airline perks, it works out well for me to spend 3 nights in Europe at a time. Traveling with kids…

Traveling with kids can be a real hassle. I’ve been stuck at the airport for eight hours with a 3 and 4 year old, changed an explosive diaper during takeoff, and sat in the last row with a motion sick one year old who had to wear his four year old brother’s fleece jacket because all of his clothes were covered in vomit. A pilot, a wife, & 3 little travelbugs…

Growing up, I enjoyed family vacations immensely. We traveled to Colorado for skiing every winter until we replaced skiing with a Caribbean cruise over spring break. We’d take summer trips to Mackinac Island, Michigan, Door County, and once to Disney World. And twice, we went camping (let’s be honest- “glamping”) in a rented RV with some family friends.
